• Process your conference registration and payment
• Generate and send your registration confirmation

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Payment processing: Payment details are handled directly by PhonePe Payment Gateway. We do not store card numbers or banking credentials.
• Conference co-organizers: Your name, designation, and organization may be shared with co-organizing institutions solely for the purpose of event management.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.

4. Payment Information

All payments are securely processed through PhonePe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store, log, or have access to your card details, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials. Only the transaction status and a transaction reference ID are stored in our system for reconciliation purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your registration data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase / Firestore) infrastructure, which is hosted in secure, certified data centres. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures including:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transfers
• Firestore security rules restricting client-side access
• Access limited to authorized personnel only
• No storage of sensitive payment credentials

6. Data Retention

Registration records are retained for a period of 5 years after the event for accounting, audit, and academic record-keeping purposes, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
